Car stolen from Murray St home

BRAZEN thieves stole an older-model Toyota Corolla in one of two petty crime incidents that happened overnight Tuesday.

Police are investigating the two incidents that happened between Tuesday night and yesterday morning.

A white 1980 Toyota Corolla sedan was broken into and taken from a southside home in Murray Street.

Meanwhile Scenes of Crime officers were sent to investigate a break-in at a Parkhurst engineering business yesterday morning.

Police said a welder, screwdrivers and other electrical equipment were stolen from Ashton Engineering.

According to the Rockhampton district’s Crime Bulletin edition, burglar activity hot spots include Berserker, Frenchville, Kawana, Norman Gardens, Park Avenue, Parkhurst, Allenstown, Rockhampton City, The Range, Wandal and Depot Hill.
