Plan your drive and survive

QUEENSLANDERS planning motoring holidays over the September school break should remember that driver fatigue is one of the biggest killers on our roads.

RACQ traffic and safety executive manager John Wikman said motorists who drove past their limits of endurance posed one of the biggest safety threats on the road.

He advised motorists to make a note of the RACQ hotline number 1300 130 595 where they can obtain information on road conditions 24 hours a day.

RACQ maps and the club's online trip planner can be accessed at www.racq.com
