Players show Heart with big fightback
IF HAVING your own fans stage a silent protest against you isn't enough, try seeing your bottom-placed team miss chance after chance.
That was what Melbourne Heart coach John Aloisi had to endure in the first half against Adelaide United at AAMI Park yesterday.
But Aloisi's side showed tremendous courage to come back and force a 3-all draw, after trailing 2-0 at halftime. Heart striker Michael Mifsud missed three clear-cut chances in the first stanza.
But when the Heart supporters found their voices in the second half, midfielder Andrea Migliorini (pictured) also found his range, with two outstanding goals.
The Heart then took the lead through a penalty goal to David Williams, following a questionable handball call against Tarek Elrich.
But the Reds also had a dose of good fortune, Marcelo Carrusca equalising with a deflected freekick.
