Police ask for help to find cake shop burglar

POLICE are investigating the robbery of a cake shop in Caboolture South yesterday have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

Just after 3pm a man entered the shop on Morayfield Road, approached the counter and threatened the female shop attendant.

The man was seen to be holding a metal object in one hand and a lighter in his other hand.

The shop attendant has complied with the man's demands and the man has then left the store with a sum of cash.

The man is described as indigenous in appearance, approximately 170cms tall, with a solid build.

He was wearing a black and white baseball cap, bright blue shirt with white writing on the front, and black knee length quick dry shorts.

Police are asking anyone with any information that can assist their investigations to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
