Noosaville man allegedly used camera to upskirt children

UPDATE: DETECTIVES have charged a 29-year-old man following investigations into an incident at Noosaville on July 31.

It will be alleged a hidden camera was used to inappropriately film pedestrians on a local street.

A 29-year-old Noosaville man has been charged with two counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16.

He is due to appear in the Noosa Magistrates Court on November 4.

Last week police released an image of a man they felt may be able to assist with investigations.

EARLIER: DETECTIVES have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into suspicious behaviour at Noosaville earlier this year.

The image of the man was captured on Shorehaven Drive at Noosaville on July 31 this year.

Police were tight lipped about what exactly the suspicious behaviour entailed.
