Police charge Booval man after bomb threat hoax
A MAN has been charged after he sent a bomb threat email this morning.
It will be alleged that just before 9am a man sent an email to a government agency on East Street, Ipswich stating he would bomb them should he not be contacted.
Police investigations located the man and subsequent searches failed to locate any explosives.
A 26-year-old Booval man has been charged with one count of using a carriage service to make threats and an unrelated charge.
He will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on May 28.
