Police charge youth after boy, 15, dies in North Lakes crash
POLICE have charged a 16-year-old boy after a 15-year-old died in a traffic crash at North Lakes last night.
About 11.35pm yesterday, a car that was travelling on the Anzac Avenue off ramp hit a guard rail.
The vehicle then went down an embankment, and a 15-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act.
Investigations are continuing.
