Police hunting arsonists after fence fire

POLICE are on the hunt for two male suspects after a Frenchville Road residence was set alight by an arsonist on Sunday night.

Initial reports suggest fire damaged bamboo fencing and vegetation around a pool area at about 10.30pm.

Police are looking for two male suspects, one six foot tall, Caucasian in his mid- 30's with a medium build and wearing light clothing.

The other is 183cm tall, Caucasian, also in his mid-30's with a slim build, slim face and brown mid-length hair.

Police are investigating whether the two males set fire to the fencing area in attempt to distract the home owners to enter the home.

Charges are yet to be laid.
