Police investigate after report of assault on school bus

POLICE are investigating an alleged assault on a school bus on Friday afternoon.

Ambulance services assessed one of the people on the bus who was bleeding.

At 3.20pm police responded to a complaint on "an educational bus" travelling along Yaamba Rd.

They were not able to confirm if school students were involved.

In other police news, two side mirrors were removed from a Toyota Hilux parked near the Rockhampton Hospital earlier this week.

The offender also attempted to remove the tail lights of the car, which was parked on Canning St.
