Police investigate "suspicious" house fire in Yeppoon

BREAKING 7pm: POLICE are investigating a house fire which started on Yeppoon's Whitman St at around 6pm.

A spokesperson from the Rockhampton police said there were no "full details" on the situation yet, but were investigating.

He said it was currently treated as "suspicious".

It is believed the fire started in one of the house's bedrooms.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
