Police investigating after body found in Caboolture

UPDATE: Police are still on the scene of a Caboolture residence where the body of a man was found this morning.

Investigations will continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

A crime scene was declared on Baxter Crescent around 10.45am this morning with Scenes of Crime and Scientific Officers attending the incident.

Lucas Blain lives across the road and said he was surprised to see all the commotion on his street.

"It's normally a pretty quiet street," he said.

"I thought it might have been a drug raid until I saw all the guys in full body suits and we realised it was a death."

EARLIER: Police are investigating after the body of a man was located in Caboolture this morning.

Officers were called to Baxter Crescent around 10.45am.

Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

A crime scene has been declared with Scenes of Crime and Scientific Officers also at the scene.
