Police release images of armed robbery in Buderim overnight

POLICE have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries in relation to an armed robbery that occurred overnight in Buderim.

Shortly after 11pm, a man entered a convenience store on Wises Road and produced a knife.

The man made demands for cash from the female attendant, who complied, and the man then fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as being around 175cms tall, Caucasian in appearance and had a slim build.
He was last seen wearing black shorts, a black hooded jumper, black shoes, dark work gloves and had his face covered.

Police are appealing to anyone who has any information which may be able to assist with their enquiries to contact them.

Investigations are continuing.
