Missing North Rocky special school boy found safe and sound

12.30pm: THE young boy who was believed to have run away from North Rockhampton Special School has been found safe and well on the school grounds.

He was located at 11.50am.

11.55am: A 10-year-old boy has gone missing from the North Rockhampton Special School.

He went missing somewhere between 9.30am and 10.30am.

Teachers believed he was swimming, but when they went to check on him it was found he was gone.

It is believed he may have gone over the back fence, which he has apparently done before.

Police are currently searching and door knocking houses between Dean St and Stockland Shopping Centre.

He is described as having blonde, curly hair and was wearing a blue and balck school shirt, dark blue pants and wearing a backpack mostly red in colour.
