Yeppoon Police find missing Yeppoon man safe and well

UPDATE 5PM: THE 74-year-old man from Yeppoon who went missing earlier today has been found safe and well.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.

4PM: POLICE want help from the public to try to find Yeppoon man Albert Parsons who has today been reported missing.

Mr Parsons, 74, left his home in Antarctic Street this morning to go for a walk.

He was last seen in Yeppoon Rd heading towards Tanby Rd around 9am.

He has not returned or been in contact with family since.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition that requires medication.

Mr Parsons is described as Caucasian, 175cm tall, with grey hair and a light complexion.

He is believed to have been wearing blue jeans, a blue and white striped shirt and a brown akubra hat.
