Police work on reported sightings

WITH several possible sightings reported of wanted man Kenneth Robert Cook, police are urging the public to continue to come forward with any information they may have.

A nationwide campaign was launched to find Cook, who is wanted after allegedly committing numerous sexual assaults in Central Queensland between 1996 and 2002.

The Bulletin reported on Wednesday that Operation Roam was launched to help bring Cook to justice.

Crime Stoppers Queensland CEO Trevor O'Hara confirmed to The Bulletin they had received five reports in relation to Cook, with possible sightings.

Some of the possible sightings have been reported in the greater Brisbane area and a couple interstate as well.

Cook features on a list released by Australian police this week of 20 fugitives who are suspected of serious crimes such as murder, assault and rape.

If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
