Multiple jobs up for grabs at CQ mine: only hours left to apply

BLACKWATER'S Jellinbah Mine are looking for trainee mining operators but the clock is ticking to get a start in the industry.

The mine, located near the townships of Blackwater and Bluff, produces 5 million tonnes of PCI product annually.

Applications close tomorrow for a number of positions that the mine is looking for.

With six-day rotating rosters, successful employees will be signed on for a period of up to 24 months to ensure you gain the competencies and the experience required to safely operate mechanical and electrical dump trucks on site.

To be successful, applicants will require a positive attitude, exceptional work ethic and be a reliable team member with a proactive approach to safe work practises.

The positions have been made available to assist younger candidates who are looking to secure a career in the industry.

Candidates based locally in Blackwater or Bluff will be highly regarded.
