POLICE hope CCTV images will help them identify a man and a woman caught on camera stealing pot plants from the front of a Noosaville business.

The coffee tree plants were stolen from the from the Venture Dr property about 12.15pm on Mother's Day, May 10.

"A male is seen to be attempting to load a large coffee tree pot plant into the rear of a vehicle but it does not fit. The male then puts it into the boot of the vehicle and then the vehicle moves a short distance, where a second large coffee tree pot plant is loaded into the boot of the vehicle," police said.

"The vehicle appeared to be driven by a Caucasian female with long hair, with the male adult passenger."

Police said two children were in the back seat of the vehicle.

The vehicle was described as green, similar to a 1998 Mazda sedan.
