Power disrupted after car strikes pole

POWER was disrupted to 306 customers in parts of Park Avenue early yesterday morning after a car struck a power pole in Sheehy St.

Ergon Energy area operations manager Trevor Bath said the power was isolated to the area by Ergon crews just after midnight to enable the safe recovery of the driver and removal of the vehicle by emergency services.

Power was reinstated to affected customers by 3.06am.
