Previously unpublished nude photo of Kate Moss revealed

MERT Alas' 300,000 Instagram followers got more than they bargained for when the photographer shared an unpublished image of Kate Moss…naked.

In the black and white shot, the 41-year-old supermodel is seen in all her glory pictured during her late 30s, wearing absolutely nothing and seemingly make-up free and unretouched. But to avoid a ban from the social media platform, Mert placed a black bar over her nipples.

Whilst Moss has never shied away from nudity in front of the camera and has posed topless countless times for photoshoots, editorials and advertising campaigns, she rarely removes her bikini bottoms. However, that's not the case when she poses for duo Mert and Marcus, who are close friends of the model.

Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott have shot Moss naked several times in the past; they were the duo responsible for the series of artistic nude pictures of Moss for the front cover shoot for Playboy's 60th anniversary edition in 2013. Also, the pair shot the naked series taken in Ibiza for Vanity Fair's December 2012 issue. She's also done a raunchy shoot with Rihanna for V magazine and posed naked alongside Cara Delevingne for Burberry.

But one of her most famous naked shots was that one for the self-tan brand St Tropez, taken, of course, in the French Riviera.

It is not known why this image was not published when it was originally taken in 2012.
