Prosecutor comes to Assange

SWEDISH prosecutor Ingrid Isgren has questioned WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for several hours over an alleged rape in Sweden in 2010. The Australian has maintained he is innocent and says the rape claim and other charges have been an attempt to get him to where he can be extradited to the US to face charges over WikiLeaks. He has been holed up at the Ecuadorian embassy in London for four years and Sweden has dropped all other charges in that time. This investigation continues because the statute of limitations will not take effect until 2020.
