QLD Farmers Federation to work with affected farmers

THE Queensland Farmers' Federation has been allocated $750,000 to lead the Cyclone Marcia Agricultural Recovery.

The QFF will work directly with affected primary producers to better manage business risks associated with climate variability.

Work will include practical management options for future responses to natural disaster events.

The project will be funded through the state and federal jointly funded Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements Category D recovery funding.
