Qld Eisteddfod coming to Rocky

ROCKHAMPTON Regional Council today agreed to budget $50,000 to lure the Queensland Eisteddfod to the Beef Capital in 2013.

The last time the event was held in Rockhampton, in 2000, it drew 6000 competitors and businesses throughout the city will be hoping the eisteddfod in three years time will be even more popular.
