QUEENSLAND selectors have named their squad for the 100th State of Origin clash in Brisbane on Wednesday night with Sydney Roosters premiership-winning forward Aidan Guerra the only new face.

As expected Maroon selectors and coach Mel Meninga stayed loyal to players who'd been part of last year's eighth straight series win, with Canberra forward Josh Papalii retaining his place on the interchange bench despite some indifferent form this season.

Newcastle winger Darius Boyd was also named for his 18th Origin even though his club form has been well below his best.

Boyd though has scored 12 tries for Queensland since debuting in 2008 -- third only to Greg Inglis and Billy Slater.

Meninga will take his 20-man squad into a camp on the Gold Coast later today.
