Yesterday's heavy deluge tipped to continue until Wednesday

HEAVY falls and wind hit Rockhampton yesterday afternoon, and is expected to continue today.

SES local controller Eddie Cowie said that while some rain came in over the weekend they weren't called on for any weather-related incidents.

"We'll monitor the weather during the night after having some rough weather during the day, but in our area most storms warnings have been cancelled.

According to the BOM website, showers are expected up until Wednesday with a top of 26 degrees mid week.
