Reaching new heights to help cure cancer at a close shave

NOT many students can say they have shaved the heads of their teachers.

But that's exactly what the students at Heights College did on the annual Shave for a Cure day fundraiser on March 12.

During the lunchtime break, students from the three classes which raised the most money in the school were given the clippers and had the privilege of shaving the heads of six male teachers.

One teacher lost a beard instead.

In total, Heights College raised $1100 for cancer research.
