Ready for Christmas euphoria?

YOU know it’s Christmas when the red and white dresses come out and the carols begin.

The girls from Natalie Latimer’s Dance Euphoria are all geared up to bring joy to Rockhampton tonight.

They will be performing at the annual Carols by Candlelight at the Rockhampton Music Bowl with many other talented entertainers.

The Rockhampton Carols by Candlelight has been a must-see event on the local calendar for many years, and this year promises to be no exception.

With more than 30 performers on stage, an orchestra of more than a dozen, and countless volunteers accepting donations for this year’s nominated charities, The Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association and CQ Life Education, Carols by Candlelight is one of the region’s major community events.

Dance Euphoria principal Natalie Latimer said six of her students had come back from holidays especially to perform at Carols by Candlelight.

She said it was an enjoyable time for the girls and great to dance somewhere new.

The girls’ first number is Joy to the World with vocals by Rhonda James, and then they will perform to a rock ’n’ roll style Christmas tune.

Ms Latimer’s school is a regular performer at Carols by Candlelight, having organised performances during the last few years.

Carols by Candlelight is produced by Rockhampton Venues and Events, a business unit of Rockhampton Regional Council, and proudly sponsored by The Morning Bulletin, 4RO, Southern Cross Ten, City Centre Plaza and many other local businesses.
