Red light runner crashes at corner

ONE motorist has been issued an infringement notice by police for failing to stop at a red light after a traffic crash on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the corner of Farm St and Yaamba Rd at 1.12pm for a two-vehicle crash.

Motorists travelling south along Farm St were diverted for half an hour to side streets.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said there were no entrapments and the scene was cleared by 1.47pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no one was injured.
