Kevin graduates from stay-at-home dad to a teaching career

COMBINING stay-at-home dad duties with full-time university study was a juggling act Kevin Crowley spent the last three-and-a-half years perfecting.

Yesterday the 30-year-old graduated from CQUniversity with a Bachelor of Learning Management, finishing his four year course a semester early.

When he started his degree Kevin and his wife had a newborn baby, who is now three years old.

He said he was excited to be a part of the atmosphere and tradition of the graduation ceremony.

"It's definitely a huge relief (to graduate)," he said.

"It was time for a change, I'd always wanted to do teaching."

Kevin graduated alongside more than 100 students in a ceremony at the Pilbeam Theatre yesterday.
