Roads remain closed in parts of CQ as wet weather continues

AS THE wet weather continues in Central Queensland, motorists are advised to be aware of the following road conditions for State-controlled roads.

Please be advised of the following conditions for Central Queensland encompassing Banana Shire, Central Highlands, Gladstone and Rockhampton Regional Council areas.

  • Burnett Highway (Mt Morgan-Rockhampton) at Mt Morgan Range
  • Leichhardt Highway between Dululu and Banana at the Don River
  • Dawson Highway between Calliope and Biloela at Double Creek
  • Dawson Highway between Rolleston and Springsure at Panorama Creek
  • Bundaberg - Miriam Vale Road (Tableland Road )
  • Baralaba - Woorabinda Road at Dawson River anabranch
  • Eidsvold - Theodore Road at Boam Creek
  • Duaringa - Apis Creek Road at Mackenzie River
  • Gladstone - Monto Road
  • Roma - Taroom Road at Sandy Creek

All other roads in the region remain open with caution. Motorists are advised to drive safely and slow down in wet weather.
