Roadworks on Neville Hewitt Bridge scheduled for Sunday

THE Department of Transport and Main Roads will commence night works on Sunday to resurface the Neville Hewitt Bridge in Rockhampton.

The resurfacing is expected to take six days to complete, weather permitting, with construction to be undertaken nightly between 7pm and 5am.

There may be noise associated with the resurfacing roadworks.  Every effort will be made however to minimise the disturbance to surrounding premises.

Motorists are reminded to exercise caution and observe all warning signs, speed restrictions and traffic controller directions during the Neville Hewitt Bridge maintenance.
