Rock royalty to visit Rockhampton in February

CENTRAL Queensland music lovers do not have to search any further for the local concert of 2016 because The Searchers will be back to perform their greatest hits for the Rockhampton region.

The band that played on the Pilbeam Theatre stage earlier this year will once again make their way to Rockhampton early next year as a part of their latest tour.

Back by popular demand, the British band will perform its greatest hit songs including Sweets for My Sweet, Sugar and Spice, Needles and Pins, Love Potion Number 9, Don't Throw Your Love Away, Someday We're Gonna Love Again and When You Walk In The Room.

The band has contributed enormously to the British music industry over the past five decades, selling more than 40 million albums.

The Searchers will play for one night only, at 8pm on Tuesday, February 23, with tickets on sale now.

Tickets will cost $69.90 for adults and $64.90 for an aged pensioner.

They can be either bought through the Pilbeam Theatre Box Office, over the phone or on the theatre's website.
