Rockhampton motorcyclist sentenced to six months jail

A 21-year-old Rockhampton man will spend the next six months in jail after failing to stop for police.

Brodie Michael Ah Wong pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, failing to stop and disqualified driving in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court this morning.

Police observed Ah Wong weaving through traffic on Moore's Creek Rd at high speeds on his father's motorcycle last month.

Ah Wong was also fined $1900 and disqualified from driving for two years.
