Rockhampton woman dies as a result of November 21 crash

A NORMAN Gardens woman has tragically passed away this morning as the result of a car accident last month.

A Queensland Police spokesperson said the 25-year-old woman was injured in a single vehicle crash at Gin Gin on November 21 and today died as a result of her injuries.

"The crash occurred around 12.30am on the Bruce Highway, with initial investigations indicating the vehicle the woman was travelling in left the roadway and crashed into a tree," the spokesperson said.

"The 25-year-old Norman Gardens woman was initially taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital for treatment and later transferred to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where she died this morning.

"The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old man, and the two other passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries."

Investigations are continuing.
