JUST days after winning the award for best acoustic singer-songwriter at the national MusicOz Awards, local band The Short Fall is using its talent to benefit the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Band members Angelo and Ryan Conway, who are half-Filipino, will be holding a benefit concert on Sunday to raise money for victims of the typhoon which hit the Philippines on Friday causing a national catastrophe.

Nine million people are believed to have been affected.

More details will follow in the Bulletin this week.
