Rocky business owners learn how to best use latest apps

ABOUT 100 local business owners from around Rockhampton attended an information session on how to utilise the latest mobile, tablet and app technologies to drive their business further this morning.

After businesses have dealt with the transformation of communication technologies from fax, telephones and email; mobile and tablet apps are now the emerging tools of professional efficiency.

The free seminar was hosted by the Rockhampton Telstra Business Centre.

Mobile App Specialist and speaker Matthew Jones said the purpose of the event was to show customers how business processes could be improved for them.

"It's about taking a process today that is a pain point for a business, and how we can evolve that to make it better for them," he said.
