Rocky gets a taste for creative milk shakes

IS a milkshake war brewing in Rocky?

After our report last week on the Two Professors' new hit, the Missy Elliot, the owner of Billy Blue's Café, David Pitchford, took to Facebook to share his own milkshake creations which are also going down well in the Beef Capital.

"There's a bit of a shake war brewing ," he said yesterday.

"But the amount of interest the shakes have generated is amazing."

He said some shakes were named after staff.

"Our Riley Shake is named after one of the juniors and is a strawberry shake topped with jam, meringue and shards of toffee," David said.

"We even have a kids one called Billy Lids Crazy Shake which is filled with stuff mums don't like, including mini Oreos and snakes."

An adult's shake will set you back $7.50 and a kids' $4.50.
