Thai holiday leads Rocky girls to TV appearance
WHEN Michaela and Savannah Callow were sipping cocktails at their resort in Thailand they never thought they'd be asked to feature in a national television show.
The Rockhampton sisters were holidaying in Thailand with their family over the Christmas and New Year period when the producers of Channel Seven's What Really Happens in Thailand asked the girls to be part of the show.

Michaela, 21, said one of the show's cameramen approached her and her sister when they were at the bar.
"Savannah and I were at the pool bar of our resort when we were approached by Channel Seven," she said.
"They were really intrigued as to why we kept coming back to holiday in Thailand and asked us to be in the show. We'd seen the show What Really Happens in Bali so we kind of knew that it would be similar.
"My family and I just love it there and have never felt like it's a dangerous place. We really wanted to show our love for the place and the reasons why we keep coming back.
"It didn't really click with me at the time that a few months later we'd be on national TV so I'm a little nervous to see myself on the screen."

Savannah, 18, said Thailand was their family's favourite holiday destination.
"We've been going there for the past four years because it's such a relaxing getaway at an affordable price," she said.
"We have become great friends with many of the locals, so Phuket sometimes feels like a second home. The show filmed us riding the elephants and spending the day with them.
"They also filmed us going to the beach to watch the fireworks display and the letting go of the lanterns on New Years Eve. It was a little weird at first to have the cameras follow us around but we got used it it.
"I'm excited to see what we look like from the other side of the camera."
