Rocky hockey reps selected in Qld teams

FOUR young indoor hockey players have been selected in Queensland teams.

Courtney Moffatt from Frenchville and Britney Willie from Rockhampton have been recently selected in the 2015 under-15 Queensland Indoor Hockey Women's Team.

Meanwhile, Kaleb Christensen from Wandal and Jaedon Evans, Frenchville, were selected for the 2015 under-15 Queensland Indoor Hockey Men's Team.

In doing so, Christensen was named Player of the Tournament at the 2015 under-15 State Indoor Hockey Team Challenge, held last weekend in Maryborough

The four talented locals were selected after standout performances for their respective teams.

The Queensland indoor hockey rep teams will hold a training camp in preparation for the 2016 Australian under-15 Indoor Hockey Championships, to be held in Wollongong from January 19 to 22.
