Rocky organisations get funding

TWENTY-ONE organisations in Rockhampton will share State Government funding of more than $400,000 aimed at improving home and community care services for elderly and disabled people.

Grassroots organisations with a proven track record of providing front-line assistance will benefit from grants ranging in size from $8000 to $59,000.

Among the beneficiaries are Meals on Wheels Rockhampton, Schotia Place Senior Citizen's Centre and Capricornia Respite Services.
