Rocky Show goes back to the people

THE Rockhampton Regional Council has officially handed the Rockhampton Show back to the community, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

This means that the Rockhampton Agricultural and Citizens Show Society will organize the show in 2015.

The council will continue to maintain the Rockhampton Showgrounds site and infrastructure, leaving the show society to concentrate on one of Rockhampton's most iconic events.
