Rocky toddler dies in pool tragedy

A TWO-YEAR-OLD girl died in hospital yesterday morning after being pulled from a Rockhampton pool on Thursday.

It’s believed the tragic accident occurred in a neighbour’s pool in the Allenstown area.

Queensland Ambulance Service was called to the home at 11.50am on Thursday after a report a young child was unconscious.

She was treated at the scene and immediately taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition.

The police child-protection and investigation unit is investigating the death.
