Rocky woman faces attack charges

POLICE have charged a Rockhampton woman, 43, in relation to an alleged attack, involving a knife, at a city hostel on Sunday night.

A police spokesman said it was alleged the woman was the main offender in the attack on a man in his 50s, who suffered fractured ribs and a cut to his face.

The woman faces charges of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed and in company, robbery with actual violence and entering a dwelling with intent to commit and indictable offence.

She is expected to appear in court later this month.
