Rufus home designs take out three awards
AFTER 35 years of designing homes, Trevor Rufus still has a passion for the industry.
Trevor, from Rufus Design Group, says he loves nothing more than designing homes for his clients.
And his team's hard work has paid off with the business winning three awards from the Building Designers Association of Queensland.
Rufus Design Group scooped up the awards for best heritage design, residential alterations and industrial buildings.
"It's great recognition of our work at a local level," Trevor said.
Trevor was excited to win the heritage design award, as it's a different style that is great to work with.
"We do about four or five heritage-style homes a year; each one is individual in its own right with different materials and finishes," he said.
The Rufus Design Group will head to the state finals of the awards in Brisbane in July.
