A FUTURE Sydney Hobart Yacht Race crew member might well be cruising around the Causeway Lake this week. Young sailors set sail at the Causeway on Monday as part of a week long 'tackers' school holiday program.

Nine sailors, aged seven to 12-years-old, will enjoy the safe, smooth and sheltered waters of the Causeway Lake until Thursday as they learn new skills from the Keppel Bay Sailing Club instructors.

All children received a shirt, hat, drink bottle, certificate, and lunch each day and will enjoy a graduation barbeque on Thursday.

A second program will be run from January 18 to 20.

Call Keppel Bay Sailing Club on 4939 9542 or email sailing@kbsc.com.au for more information.
