Salvos’ Family Store floor safe at Yeppoon targeted

OFFENDERS have targeted a floor safe at the Salvation Army Family Store in Yeppoon earlier this month.

The thieves were unsuccessful, but tried to force open the safe causing some damage.

The offenders broke into the store some time between June 13 and 14.

They forced their way into the Salvos store through a side window and found the keys to the office.

No property was stolen in the alleged theft attempt. Police inquiries are continuing.
