Sandy has taste for success

ONCE Sandy Svendsen got a taste for owning her own business she wanted more.

The Rockhampton woman started up her business Just 4 U Jewellery about two years ago and after much demand from customers has now stepped into the exciting world of fashion.

Trading in her premises on Dean St for a new shop and a new name, Sandy this week opened Fashions Just 4 You at shop 2 205 Musgrave St.

“It’s been great,” Sandy said.

“I had two girls waiting for me to open and they were here at 9am on the first day.”

Sandy said customers of her jewellery and accessories store had told her of the need for a fashion outlet for women aged 35-50 and she’d made the decision to venture into clothing as well.

“I’m selling everything from casual everyday to race wear,” Sandy said.

Sandy said the store would still keep all of the jewellery, hand bags and other accessories her previous store had in stock as well.

“It’s a one-stop shop,” Sandy said.

She said she was excited to open the new business on one of the city’s busiest streets and was looking forward to the challenge.

“It was good to wet my feet with the old store and know that I could do it and now this is such a great location and a great space.”
