Saturday Rocky's cricket matches canned, for the time being

THE overnight downpour forced Rockhampton Cricket Incorporated to cancel this weekend's fixtures.

For now at least.

Central Queensland club coordinator Peter Wells said all junior cricket and the Frenchville Sports Club A-grade premiership matches in Rockhampton scheduled for Saturday are cancelled.

A decision will made later today regarding the match between the Capricorn Coast Sharks and Frenchville Falcons at Yeppoon Showgrounds.

If the rain ceases, the A-grade match between Gracemere Bulls and Brothers could proceed on Sunday in a 40-over format.

A decision will be made at lunchtime on Saturday.

The Second Division T20 Final scheduled for Saturday evening is postponed to later in the season.

The T20 ROCKS under-10 program is still on at Indoor Sports Arena from 6pm tonight.
