Yeppoon mum knows how to save on staples

STARTING her own healthy breakfast business recently, Yeppoon's Amy Thomas said she finds items at Coles are cheaper than buying from wholesalers.

"I find the prices for most items I need are cheaper here than at Woolworths or other supermarkets," she told the Morning Bulletin while shopping at Yeppoon Coles yesterday.

"I buy all the basics here like nappies and milk, we live gluten free so we use a lot of the Coles brand products in that range as well."

The mother-of-two said she didn't find the overall pricing of groceries that bad on the Capricorn Coast, and also opted for Australian-made brands where she could.
