Scare with us at the Zodiac

IF you're stuck for plans to celebrate Halloween in Rockhampton this year, look no further than the Zodiac Nightclub.

General manager Darrin “Smurf” Ferguson is taking the spooky tradition to a whole new level at his nightclub and is encouraging Rockhampton revellers to get on board.

Decked out from ceiling to floor, the venue will be layered with Halloween decorations to get partygoers right into the sprit.

You may have noticed some of the paraphernalia up in the windows already.

And if that's not enough to get you psyched up, those dressed in theme will receive free entry.

“Save your money for the party inside and get in theme and have a great time,” he said.

“We will have HOT FM's Karina and Baz hosting the night and the biggest news of the night, we will be giving away one double pass to see pop sensation Lady GaGa perform in Brisbane in March 2010.”

Officially opening its doors to the public in December 2008, the Zodiac Nightclub has made its mark as one of the hottest night venues in Rockhampton.

Walking through the entrance, you are quickly welcomed by heart-pumping beats and a contagious party atmosphere to keep you wide awake and full of energy all night long.

For Darrin, Halloween is the perfect excuse to make one night into something to truly party about.

“Halloween has become one of the most popular and celebrated holidays for all ages and with the growing local interest in celebrations, it's the perfect way to get on board and share in the excitement,” he said.

“So, all that's left now is to find the most wicked costume ever and we'll meet you inside.”
