School holiday art program a success

THE Queensland Art Gallery's latest regional touring program, Drawing Life for Kids: Celebrating Artists, enjoyed great success when it visited Rockhampton last week, attracting almost 900 visitors.

Rockhampton Art Gallery hosted this program daily at Stockland, Rockhampton, last week with plenty of children and parents pouring in to try out the options.

Chairwoman of the community development and customer service committee, Cr Rose Swadling said Drawing Life for Kids on Tour presented free activities for children as part of the major summer exhibition, Matisse: Drawing Life.
